Tough Mudder in training - here is abit of a backstory. First up i have chronic asthma to start now to the fun stuff. Injury list fractured skull, had my neck broken twice, broken vertebrae's in t and s sections of my back, right knee needs reconstructive surgery had some xrays done after injuring my knee again the xray techs said it was like looking at a human snow globe, the only thing holding me together is will power.
This is not a rant or a bitch about how unfair life is I did that for to many years this is about inspiring people like i was inspired. I'm training to do tough mudder supporting a great team The Courageous1s who are doing Tough Mudder to fund raise for the JDRF to help find a cure for Type 1 diabetes. My friend's young son has type 1 and after learning just a little bit about what they go through on a daily basis with the finger pricks to check his levels, weighing his food for school, what could happen if his levels go to high or to low well lets just say i got over my excuses real quick. All the years of making excuses i ballooned up to 150 kg. I finally started working out and after about 3 months ago i dropped 40 kg put on about 10 kg of muscle but i recently got sick and dropped another 10 kg. Motivation has always been hard for me but you know what the say "It is important for everybody to find something, anything, that is a path with heart in it." I found mine. #markofthealpha
